Live At The St James – What A Swell Party This Is!

Another new show and another great crowd! We were thrilled to welcome new followers who discovered us at West End LIVE last week … thank you for your support, we are glad you enjoyed the show!

And also, of course, great to welcome back our regular supporters the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, as well a fabulous star of Broadway’s Golden Era, the Tony Award winner Miss Elizabeth Seal!

It seemed only right to re-visit ‘31 West End Musicals In Under 10 Minutes’, but we also returned to another old friend … our very first ever mash-up, ’20 Songs In 4 Minutes’. We put this medley together for our debut show at The Pheasantry last year. All our other mash-ups have had very specific themes, but ’20 Songs’ does exactly what it says on the tin – it is indeed 20 random songs performed in four minutes! When Stephen Adams composed ‘The Holy City’ he probably never envisaged it segueing into ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ … but somehow it works!

Every show at the St. James thus far has included a tribute to the glorious music of Hollywood’s greatest musicals, and tonight was no exception. ‘Those Were The Days’ has now become a regular Ferris & Milnes party-piece, and we ended the night with a hoot of an ABBA tribute.

Incidentally – we were also pleased to welcome Jacob Kenedy, chef extraordinaire of London’s top restaurants Bocca diLupo and Vico … have you been? If not, then Ferris & Milnes can thoroughly recommend!
