Live At The St James – Let’s Go On With The Show!
On February 1, 2016, Posted by , In Uncategorized, With No Comments

Our first production of the residency – and what a great way to open with two sold out shows! The St. James Studio is a fabulous place to perform, and having a Steinway piano on stage is the icing on the cake. Thank you to James Albrecht, creative director at the St. James, for inviting us to appear at this super venue, and to Richard Douglas Productions, with whom we continue our happy association after the Sondheim Gala last year.

We were very excited to premiere our new mash-up medley celebrating all the musicals currently in the West End … a lightening tour of theatre-land covering everything from Wicked and Miss Saigon to Gypsy, Guys and Dolls and beyond, and all in under ten minutes!

It was great to welcome a large party from The Stephen Sondheim Society in attendance on Sunday – we are proud and happy to have their support. Thanks also to our friends from the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, who have followed us ever since our debut show at The Pheasantry last year.

The St. James is the perfect place to premiere all our new material – and we are excited to be covering so many different styles from Gilbert & Sullivan through to Elton John, not to mention all those musicals in the West End medley! Now to put together a brand new show for March 26th … we couldn’t possibly be creating a brand new production from scratch with entirely new material … or could we??
